Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from customers and serve as the initial point of contact for technical support.
- Create, manage, and update tickets using the company’s ticketing system.
- Provide low-level technical support, including troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and network issues.
- Follow provided troubleshooting guides and escalate unresolved issues to the UK-based support team.
- Document technical issues and resolutions accurately to maintain a detailed knowledge base.
- Communicate effectively with customers, ensuring they are informed throughout the support process.
- Experience in a helpdesk or IT support role.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 and troubleshooting common technical issues.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and support workflows.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work autonomously, following predefined processes and guidelines.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Fundamentals.
- Prior experience providing remote desktop support.
