HireArt is helping an established AI company pioneering new approaches to data development find college-educated people with an aptitude for math or data to be AI Data Annotators.
In this role, you’ll label, categorize, and evaluate data to train machine learning models. This includes tasks annotating objects in images, tagging pieces of text, or generating/evaluating multiple-choice questions to support AI models that depend on high-quality labeled data for accuracy.
We are seeking people who can maintain a high level of attention-to-detail while completing tasks that take 10-40 minutes to complete. This is an excellent opportunity for people interested in contributing to AI advancements and can lead to engagement on other projects in the future.

Responsibilities

- Multimodal data annotation: Accurately label and tag data, including images and text, following provided guidelines.
- Multiple-choice question generation: Create clear and high-quality questions for educational or AI training purposes.
- Quality assurance: Review and verify your annotations to ensure consistency and correctness across datasets.
- Data processing: Handle large volumes of data, ensuring tasks are completed within project deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher. Recent grads are encouraged to apply!
- Has done well (B or above) in a college-level mathematics course.
- A solid grasp of basic math and an ability to understand complex concepts and work with technical data.
- Attention to detail: Precision is crucial, as incorrect labeling can impact the performance of machine learning models.
- English proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for generating content and annotating text-based data.
- Self-motivation: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Data literacy: Experience or familiarity with handling and processing various types of data is preferred.
- Technical aptitude: Comfort with basic software tools, spreadsheets, or annotation platforms is beneficial.
