About The Role

- Project Creation: You will create multiple engineering projects in alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
- Design and Development: You will research and develop software and products, incorporating innovative solutions and best practices for scalability and maintainability.
- Budget Development: You will develop and manage budgets for projects, ensuring financial efficiency and adherence to financial constraints.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will collaborate with multiple teams, including product, design, and development, to drive project success.
- Service Responsibility: You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve services and infrastructure focusing on performance, scalability, and resilience. You will also build Integration among services and tools. Expertise setting up continuous deployment and integration is required for this role. You should be familiar with GitHub actions, Infrastructure as code and application monitoring tools like NewRelic and Datadog.
- Systems responsibility: You will support existing systems looking to enhance functionality, increase scale, and transform in new ways to meet their product demands.

What Your CV should highlight...
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in engineering management or a similar leadership role, with a track record of successful project execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Passion for driving engineering excellence and innovation.
- Experience in building large-scale multi-tier web applications with high availability and scalability.
- Knowledge of programming languages, such as Go, Java, Python and JavaScript is required. Familiarity with a broad range of frameworks and solutions like nodejs, django, spring, redis, SQS, firebase is required.
- Breadth of knowledge with ability to dive deep when required is necessary. Codematic provides services to customers with different stacks and architecture so the ability to quickly get comfortable with new stacks and tools is necessary.
- Experience in designing and developing complex modern web applications.
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and GCP.
- Experience in developing RESTful web services, working closely with front-end teams to create mocks, define payloads, and follow HTTP best practices.
- Experience applying computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
- An extensive background in working with SQL/NoSQL technologies, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
