What you'll do.


As a Product Manager for our new Payments product, you will be instrumental in elevating Jackrabbit’s payments offering to stand out in the market. Your focus will be to harness the power of the Adyen platform to bring payments innovation to Jackrabbit’s industry leading products. You are curious, and like to dig in to understand how things work. You are technical in nature, understanding APIs and how to develop a Platform that is seamlessly leveraged and integrated with other systems. You care equally about innovation and the customer experience, allowing you to balance priorities to create a roadmap that is predictable and can be executed by the team.


In this role, you will:


  • Follow payment industry trends, developments, competition and practices to shape the Jackrabbit Payments roadmap that enables Jackrabbit to offer the best Payments solution to our markets.
  • Partner closely with the Payments Manager to evaluate new, strategic Jackrabbit Pay product opportunities and bring forward proposals (buy, build, partner solutions) for new capabilities with ROI and user impact at the forefront
  • Deeply understand the needs of the Jackrabbit Pay business, clients and internal teams to design and build an innovative, resilient, and reliable product.
  • Own Jackrabbit Pay product roadmap based on an understanding of Adyen products and payment industry trends while optimizing the experience of Jackrabbit Pay clients and operations teams.
  • Create product requirements based on an understanding of Adyen products, payment industry trends, and the desired user experience of Jackrabbit Pay clients and operations teams.
  • Utilize client and market data to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and uncover growth opportunities that balance overall profitability, client experience and other strategic objectives.
  • Develop expert level knowledge of the underlying technology to assess technical feasibility of a proposed product/feature etc.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from inception to adoption. This includes product planning, development, launch, and post-launch analysis.
  • Own the scrum process daily meetings, refinement, reviews, and release tasks with internal and partner teams.
  • Address technical questions, prioritize operational bug fixes, and deliver rapid, visible, continuous operational improvements to delight Jackrabbit Pay clients and internal operational teams.
  • Act as an escalation point for client issues that require product change resolution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external development partner, owning priorities and day to day engagement approach.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


What you're about.


  • 3+ years experience as a product manager owning a product or some portion of a product, its vision and market positioning, or equivalent experience evaluating and communicating user needs and ideas.
  • 4-year business, marketing, or STEM degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in the Payments space, working with platforms like Adyen or Stripe preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience working with platforms that serve as the foundation for other products, with a strong focus on integration capabilities. Proven experience with APIs, including writing detailed integration requirements to ensure seamless connectivity and functionality across systems, preferred.
  • Strong aptitude for problem-solving; ability to troubleshoot technical issues and simplify complex requirements
  • Knowledge of User Experience (UX) or User-Centered Design (UCD)
  • Self-starter with the ability to work across organizational boundaries to get things done
  • Proficiency in data analysis and identifying and applying meaningful metrics
  • Ability to multi-task, balance multiple priorities, and perform well under pressure
  • Ability to travel up to 15%; some weekend travel is required for trade shows, team meetings, or conferences
