LMI is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join a high performing team supporting a government healthcare client . This position may be remote.

Responsibilities

Position is for an experienced Scrum Master (CSM) with strong communication skills and a passion for Agile. This position requires a B.S. in computer science, management information systems, engineering, or a related field. The candidate will work as a servant leader with a team of LMI software developers and domain experts to implement IT solutions in support of multiple federal agencies. This position may be remote.

  • Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.)
  • Collaborate with client, product owner and project leader to ensure alignment and prioritize functionality
  • Facilitate interaction and appropriate communication between scrum teams, architecture and UX
  • Facilitate Agile training, as needed, within the LMI Agile Community
  • Collect and report progress metrics on a regular basis

Qualifications

MINIMUM:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science , management information systems, engineering, or a related field
  • Must have 3 years+ experience as a Scrum Master with a focus on servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Certifications Required: One or more Agile certifications such as PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Scrum Alliance, SAFe ® (Scaled Agile Framework) or other
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead an agile development team
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and product roadmaps, recognize and remove impediments, identify and mitigate risks, escalate issues as appropriate , and proven expertise coordinating cross-functional technical teams
  • Ability to obtain or maintain a government security clearance desired . Applicants selected for this position may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Preferred Experience/Skills

  • Experience with distributed development teams which span multiple geographies, time zones, and cultures
  • Experience with release planning and tracking and Agile using test driven development, automated testing, and continuous integration environments
  • Knowledge of business functions and business operations, strategies, and objectives
  • Experience using formal ticketing applications such as Atlassian Jira
  • Experience working in a consultant / client environment
