FREELANCE CONTRACT WORK FROM HOME (IN OWN TIME)
Location: Virtual work from home (candidate must be based in South Africa)
Focus Group is a well known long standing outsourced consulting house.
We have an international pharmaceutical client who employ more than 40 000 people - that is needing a Freelance graphic designer (junior) to work with them on contractual / consulting basis for their Learning and Development and HR, Talent Management and Leadership Development materials.
Brief: We are working to find another graphic designer to work with our HR global teams, working with us on different deliverables (Power points slides, Job aids, roll ups, etc) according to their Global brand guidelines.
Our teams develop the content, however, in some cases we need to make it fancy or make the graphics support the text in a better way.
We are looking to find someone that can support our teams between 50-80 hours a month (on AVG). Client is looking for someone ideally newly graduated with a Visual Arts / Graphic Design or related qualification / Certification and who has worked with Powerpoint or could easily learn it.

- Tools - Powerpoint and JPEG (mainly)
- Depth - 80% moving content to Branded template and choosing the right slide design/structure with 20% might be advising on best graphics to support message
- Initial trial for 1 month and if it goes well we will have an ongoing engagement as we use graphic designers all the time for various projects
- Updated Profile (two pages) with specific focus on your graphic design capabilities and experience - please confirm your Graphic Design/Visual Arts and related qualifications and certifications
- Do you have strong experience in Powerpoint (and design tools) - which and how long?
- Please confirm your availability for between 50 to 80 hours per month on a regular monthly basis - at your own time but within their daily or weekly time cycles (although the first month is a trial month)
- When is the soonest you will be available (they are needing someone urgently and generally the approvals are quick)
- Your hourly expected rate for this piece of work (given the depth of the work) (PLEASE NOTE: Being an international client we cannot charge VAT so you would need to include VAT in your total rate if you are a VAT Vendor)
- Provide a sample of your Powerpoint slide deck for portfolio sample
