Remote Data Entry Clerk

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Clerk to assist with inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate information into our databases and systems. The ideal candidate will thrive in a remote work setting, possess strong organizational skills, and have a keen eye for accuracy.

Responsibilities

Enter data from various sources into databases, spreadsheets, or other electronic formats with precision and efficiency.

Verify accuracy of data by comparing it to source documents and re-entering corrected data as necessary.

Update existing data and perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.

Generate reports and assist with data analysis tasks as required.

Maintain confidentiality and security of all data by following policies and procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position.

Fast typing skills; knowledge of touch typing system is preferred.

Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.).

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Knowledge of data management practices and methods.
