Service Desk Representative | Remote | Contract
Walker Healthforce is seeking a Service Desk Representative for a healthcare client located remotely. This is a contract opportunity.
Start Date: ASAP

- Provide comprehensive technical support for various technologies including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, networks, and software.
- Safeguard organization security by adhering to established procedures to prevent unauthorized access.
- Conduct in-depth troubleshooting, research, diagnosis, and resolution of technical issues.
- Offer guidance and support to Service Desk Associates and new Representatives for service excellence.
- Maintain knowledge of company systems, support teams, network infrastructure, and software.
- Assist in testing new technologies and support structures for integration.
- Monitor collaboration tools to identify and address emerging issues.
- Contribute to knowledge base growth and maintenance.
- Stay updated on processes, procedures, and environmental changes.
- Take ownership of new information, update documentation, and communicate relevant updates.
- Escalate system issues for quality assurance and stability.
- Bachelor's Degree
- IT helpdesk and technical support experience
- Proficient with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Certification in IT Service Management (ITSM/ITIL/HDI, etc.)
- Proficient with PC navigation
- 2 or more years of successful experience in the area of Service Desk, Help Desk, or IT Support responsibilities, or previously demonstrated success in the HFHS Service Desk Associate Role.
- 1+ years of customer service experience included in the above technical experience or separately.
- 5 years or more experience working in a 24/7/365 health care environment help desk, service desk, or IT support position using phone, email, remote assist, and chat to provide direct end-user support.
- Experience supporting the following:
- ServiceNow ITSM tool usage
- Apple/Mac products
- Windows OS
- Remote Access VPN
- Citrix-based application
- Epic EMR
