We are seeking professional, reliable, detail oriented, and very organized individuals to serve as a Licensing Administrator. The Licensing Administrator will work directly with Benefit Advisors, various state Departments of Insurance, carrier contacts, Training, and other functional teams to ensure our Advisors are licensed in their designated states allowing them to sell.

This role is a 100% remote full-time seasonal role beginning in April 2024 ending October 15, 2024. During the hiring season, our Licensing team must be available to work overtime and possibly weekends as needed.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in the completion of insurance licensing applications.
  • Track and follow up on the status of agency and licenses.
  • Order continuing education courses for advisors.
  • Schedule and book licensing exams and fingerprinting.
  • Navigate and create state affiliations for agents to be listed under the agency.
  • Submit state appointment applications to carrier contact to show active on reports.
  • Audit individual licenses to keep agents compliant with the states.
  • Electronically organize and maintain licensing-related documentation.
  • Collect and verify paperwork documentation from advisors to submit for state requirements.

What You’ll Bring

  • High proficiency utilizing technology, including Microsoft Office Products, database applications and more.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills enabling you to clearly articulate expectations, and critical information across all levels verbally and through written communication.
  • Ability to easily shift directions and priorities based on the ever-changing critical business needs.
  • Demonstrate eHealth’s values in your behaviors, practices, and decisions.
  • Enjoy being a team player and working collaboratively across functions.
  • Previous experience with the insurance industry and/or prior licensing experience is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

LI-Remote

The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealth’s total rewards package, which also includes an annual performance bonus, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellness. Base Pay Range -$39,000 - $48,700
