Responsibilities
- Front-End Development:
- Utilise your expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build and maintain high-quality, responsive front-end components for e-commerce websites.
- Ensure the seamless integration of design concepts into functional user interfaces.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in collaborative problem-solving and contribute innovative ideas to enhance project outcomes.
- Testing and Debugging:
- Conduct thorough testing of front-end components to identify and address any issues.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the delivery of error-free and optimized user interfaces.
- Optimisation:
- Implement performance optimizations to enhance website speed and overall user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in front-end development.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain documentation for code, processes, and best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers when necessary.
- Proven experience as a Front-End Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous e-commerce projects.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- At least two years of commercial experience using React.
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web standards.
- Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
