As a Technical Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality software solutions to our customers.
No matter where you work from, whether at our campus in Schöppingen or full-remote , in Germany or another country in Europe, you are an integral part of a team of Technical Product Managers and the Shopware crew.
These are your tasks:
- You work with internal as well as external stakeholders and our engineers to define the future direction for our cloud offerings (SaaS & PaaS) OR core platform (developer platform).
- You break down strategic initiatives into small achievable goals and roadmaps .
- You collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
- You translate developer needs into technical requirements and user stories.
- You prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on feedback and strategic goals.
- You uncover and understand customer needs ( market research ) and translate them into requirements.
- You understand, research, and follow competitors and technical trends in the industry to inform product decisions.
- You monitor product performance and iterate based on user feedback and metrics.
- You actively introduce changes into the company and help Sales and Marketing to communicate the value of the product.
- You are the messenger of architectural decisions towards our community and the voice of the user/developer internally.
This is what you’ll bring to the table:
- You have at least four years of professional experience in Product management (particularly with technical products).
- You have a strong understanding of software development processes and lifecycle.
- You have a strong engineering background and can discuss things at eye level with our software engineers.
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- You can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- You are fluent in German and English and keen to work in an international corporate environment with an "English First" approach.
- You are familiar with Agile methodologies and tools (like Scrum).
