Are you passionate about helping people grow and learn about Microsoft technology? The Skilling Partnerships team is looking for an individual to work as a Program Manager II in collaboration with product groups and engineering teams to expand our ability to plan, deliver, and measure the impact of Microsoft Learn across all Microsoft copilots, products, portals, and admin centers.

As a Technical Program Manager II, this person is comfortable wearing multiple hats and will collaborate with teams worldwide to develop and execute a plan to integrate Skilling assets into our customer’s flow-of-work in copilots within our Microsoft products to provide a seamless and delightful customer experience. You are customer obsessed, data driven, can work well across organizations, have communications skills, and have a solid understanding of the Microsoft Cloud and Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and define shared accountabilities, plans, and frameworks for strategic programs across Microsoft product stakeholders and partners that reduce cost and complexity
  • Maximize customer impact by designing and identifying opportunities for better technical implementation and solutions of content into first party experiences (copilots, products, portals, and admin centers)
  • Use a data driven approach to understand customer needs and expectations around technical documentation and online training, and can translate these needs into scalable and cross-functional projects
  • With minimal supervision, lead strategic companywide content activation and deliver against a roadmap that requires partnerships with content, engineering, and product teams and report product partners content usage, stage, and impact across channels
  • Exchange ideas, data, and feedback across the organization to promote the long-term value of cross-organizational partnership and building relationships

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
