Role Summary: UKG is looking to hire an experienced Bid & Proposal Manager to support our global sales team with a dedicated focus on international payroll. This is a multi-faceted and fast-paced role that requires collaboration across the ‘One View’ business unit.
Key Responsibilities: As a critical member of our dynamic team, you will play an important role in driving our growth by supporting the entire proposal and bid development process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing Proposal Lifecycle: Oversee everything from initial sales intake to post-proposal submission.
- Strategic Writing and Messaging: Provide strategic writing and messaging support to effectively communicate our unique differentiation and compelling win themes.
- Technical Content Articulation: Convert technical content into benefits-based summaries, ensuring our win themes are consistently reflected in all client communications and deliverables. Suggest creative ideas to enhance our win strategy and ability to differentiate.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Leadership, Marketing, and colleagues to support the entire commercial team in achieving success.
- Product Knowledge: Learn our ‘One View’ technology and stay updated with its software release cycle to communicate our unique differentiators effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality standards in all pursuit deliverables, leading to successful client acquisition.
- Team Guidance: Provide guidance and structure to the extended pursuit team, acting as the 'glue' that keeps everyone focused and aligned.
- Structured Sales Approach: Support a structured sales approach and proposal development, creating and articulating compelling client offers across scope, solution, price, and terms.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Strong experience in a bid or proposal writing position within a software company.
- Education: Qualification in business, marketing, or a related discipline.
- Skills: Exceptional project management and attention to detail. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across various functions.
- Customer Focus: A customer-first approach, ensuring that what we do puts the customer at the heart and drives language, content, and results.
- Commercial Impact: Revenue-focused, prioritizing commercial impact when pursuing deals, and understanding its effect on reputation and revenue.
- Adaptability: Comfortable with a flexible schedule to accommodate varying time zones and client needs.
- Tech Enthusiasm: A tech enthusiast committed to continuous upskilling with each new release.
- Industry Experience: Experience working in the SaaS industry.
- Global Experience: Experience in a B2B multinational setting.
- Tools Proficiency: Experience with online content management tools and Salesforce.
