Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, and grooming as needed.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping in accordance with dietary needs.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities to promote mental stimulation.
• Help clients with medication reminders and personal healthcare routines as required.
• Provide transportation for errands, appointments, and social activities.
• Document and report any changes in clients' health or ability to the care coordinator.

Requirements

• Must have at least a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in home care or caregiving preferred.
• Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to help others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with clients and their families.
• Ability to follow care plans and adhere to safety protocols.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a saliva drug test.
