Our mission is to ensure residents feel supported and heard, while delivering thoughtfully designed apartment homes and convenient access to local amenities, employment centers, and transportation. As we continue to grow and enhance our community, we are seeking a Senior Property Manager to lead operations and drive performance across our portfolio.

This role is instrumental in shaping the resident experience, optimizing property performance, and maintaining high standards of operational excellence. The Senior Property Manager will oversee all aspects of property management, from leasing and financial oversight to team leadership and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide full operational, financial, and strategic oversight for one or more multifamily residential properties
  • Drive property performance across lease-up and stabilized operations
  • Oversee leasing strategy, pricing, occupancy, renewals, and revenue
  • Partner with marketing for branding and lead generation
  • Ensure property presentation standards and quality
  • Lead resident relations strategy and resolve escalated resident issues
  • Oversee move-in, move-out, renewal, and resident communication processes
  • Manage day-to-day operations including maintenance, vendors, and onsite teams
  • Develop and manage annual operating budgets
  • Review financial statements, variance reports, and operational metrics
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and service agreements
  • Ensure compliance with housing regulations, safety standards, and company policies
  • Implement and optimize property management software and reporting tools
  • Standardize workflows for leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and reporting
  • Drive process improvement and operational efficiencies
  • Ensure accurate data tracking and reporting to ownership
  • Serve as liaison between ownership and onsite operations
  • Mentor property management staff
  • Collaborate with facilities, construction, and development teams on renovations and capital projects
  • Contribute to long-term asset management and portfolio strategy

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 7–10+ years of multifamily residential property management experience
  • Experience managing larger or multiple properties
  • Proven ability to lead on-site property management teams
  • Hands-on experience developing and managing annual operating budgets for multifamily properties
  • Strong financial acumen with experience reviewing financial statements and variance reports
  • Expertise in negotiating vendor contracts and managing vendor performance
  • Experience overseeing leasing strategy, pricing, occupancy, renewals, and revenue for multifamily properties
  • Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office
  • Experience leading resident relations strategy and resolving escalated resident issues
  • Experience overseeing move-in, move-out, renewal, and resident communication processes
  • Experience ensuring compliance with housing regulations, safety standards, and company policies
  • Experience standardizing workflows for leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and reporting
  • Willingness to work weekends and be on-call for after-hours emergencies
  • Experience presenting operational and financial updates directly to property ownership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing operations for multifamily properties of 91 units or larger
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field
  • Experience partnering with marketing to drive branding, lead generation, and leasing performance
  • Experience ensuring property presentation standards (quality, curb appeal, readiness)
  • Track record of driving operational efficiencies and continuous process improvement
  • Experience collaborating with facilities, construction, and development teams on renovations and capital projects
