MAJOR FUNCTION: 

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Value Based Programs Specialist will assist with the transformation at Inspira from volume-based to value-based models of care delivery and payment for the practices in Inspira’s clinically integrated network and accountable care organization.  This individual will become a subject matter expert on the various programs in order to assist practices with operationalizing their care management, utilization, and quality strategies.  Critical competencies include efficient problem solving, excellent written and verbal communication skills, professionalism and critical thinking skills.  This position requires an effective, productive and collaborative working relationship with physician practices, flexing to various levels of business and technology acumen.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in healthcare operations, preferably primary care.

Certification/Licensure:       

• N/A

Knowledge & Skills:

• Outstanding communication and relationship building skills.
• Uses time effectively as demonstrated by productivity, ability to track multiple projects to conclusion and completion of assignments by scheduled deadline.
• Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• High level proficiency in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• Ability to contribute in a strong team-based environment.
• Results oriented with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a demanding, fast paced environment.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Physical Requirements:       

• Occasional travel may be required. 
• Physical and mental capacity to perform responsibilities as outlined.
