Private family of 3 living in West Hampton, NY is in search of a seasoned chef to join their team. The role is Monday through Friday and The expectation is that the candidate will provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meals can be prepared, stored and left in the fridge.  The role does not involve serving daily but on special occasions or parties they may ask for those services. The family also has 2 live-in staff members that will be eating as well. They family is Kosher and would love a Chef comfortable in a Kosher kitchen. 

• The family is Kosher, so candidates should be able to tailor meals and snacks accordingly
• Other responsibilities will include keeping the fridge, freezer, and produce cupboards tidy and up to date, keeping track of inventory, grocery shopping, cleaning up the kitchen at the end of each day, and generally keeping everything in order.
• Breakfast items can be set aside/ left in the fridge, such as protein/ energy balls, muffins, overnight oats, zucchini bread etc
• Lunch and dinner can also be plated and left in the fridge. 
• if the family entertains, there is a full-time housekeeper to assist with this but they will ask for plated meals with advanced notice. 

• Experience in Kosher homes
• Great balance of creativity, and willingness to stick with client preferences
• Experience working on a team and with a stay at home mom
• Experience planning and preparing meals that reheat well. 
• The ideal candidate is clean, tidy and easy-going 

• Must be willing to keep the kitchen clean and organized- this is your space and the family needs someone who will take ownership of it
• The chef will need to be very organized and flexible
• Local to the Hampton's 
• US work authorization
• Driver's license

• $120-$150k + benefits and healthcare stipend
