The Nasdaq Listings Marketing team is looking to hire a Marketing Specialist - Listings to support email marketing and campaigns aimed at engaging listed companies with relevant content and information, elevating executive thought leadership, and reaching & educating prospective clients.

Nasdaq’s listings business is home to the world’s leading global innovators, representing over 5,000 total listings with a combined market value of more than $30 trillion USD.

The Nasdaq Listings Marketing team is looking to hire a Marketing Specialist - Listings to support email marketing and campaigns aimed at engaging listed companies with relevant content and information, elevating executive thought leadership, and reaching & educating prospective clients.

The Marketing Specialist - Listings will manage execution of email marketing campaigns, and will be responsible for refining strategic target audiences, managing deployment, and tracking and analyzing results. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, flexible, data driven, and willing to experiment and iterate on processes while having a strong understanding of executive-level communications.

Role and Responsibilities:

Email Marketing:

  • Manage all email marketing campaigns for the Listings business, including template designs, distribution lists, and metrics reports
  • Manage the email send program and proofing process in Marketo  
  • Work closely with teams across Marketing to deploy campaigns and work closely with the Sales team to clearly communicate campaign analytics and metrics
  • Measure results of campaigns and collaborate with Sales team on recommended strategies to convert leads into customers 
  • Responsible for creating and segmenting email distribution lists relevant to each campaign, taking into consideration metrics like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.) 
  • Responsible for aggregating content for monthly client and prospect communications, and managing end-to-end creation and deployment
  • Support deployment of crisis communications as needed – i.e. an urgent update to clients that needs to be deployed immediately
  • Maintain expertise and understanding of key marketing automation tools and what deployment strategies are best for different use cases
  • Research and recommend new marketing technology and best practices, partnering with the Listings team to develop roadmaps for new processes and A/B tests

Digital Marketing:

  • Work within no-code content management system (CMS) to update digital landing pages across the Listings business and upload new content as necessary

You’ll Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of tools like Marketo, Outreach.io, and Salesforce
  • Ability to thrive in a global, fluid, fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines, and multiple priorities and stakeholders 
  • Extremely strong attention to detail and an understanding of appropriate tone for an executive audience
  • Motivated team player who actively seeks challenging projects and proactively shares experience and knowledge towards the team’s goals 
  • Strong project management skills 
  • Creative thinker who can articulate and confidently present ideas across the organization at all levels 
  • Initiative to work independently as well as across internal and client teams 
  • Ability to learn quickly, dive in and become familiar with Nasdaq’s various lines of business and their priorities, and look for cross-collaboration opportunities
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal, strong language and writing skills with mastery of English grammar  
  • Strong understanding of relevant email marketing metrics and A/B testing strategies, with an analytical mindset
  • Understanding of SEO best practices is a plus
  • Willingness to occasionally work outside of regular business hours to deploy a crisis communication or ensure successful campaign launch
  • Minimum 2-5 years of relevant email marketing experience
  • Commitment to 4 days in New York office

The base pay range for this role is $74,800 - $124,600. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
