About the Role: PRN Speech Language Pathologist

As a PRN Speech Language Pathologist, you’ll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at Wesley at Home.

As a PRN Speech Language Pathologist, you will:  

• Comprehensive Patient Evaluation: Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities in the home setting.
• Personalized Therapy Planning: Create tailored treatment plans based on assessments and patient goals, addressing speech, language, cognition, and swallowing.
• Evidence-Based Intervention Delivery: Implement targeted therapy techniques to improve communication and swallowing functions.
• Education and Collaboration: Educate patients and caregivers on supportive strategies, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal outcomes.

Openings:

• PRN, as needed basis

Qualifications: 

• Valid Iowa driver’s license
• Current vehicle insurance
• Currently licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state of Iowa
• Graduate of an accredited speech-language pathology master’s program
• Previous home health or direct patient care experience preferred

• The pay range for this position is $36.07 - $45.09 / hour. The starting pay rate will be based on years of experience.
