Opportunity Overview:

Insulator

Experienced Nuclear Certified Insulator

Feed Water Heater Project

This is a fully on-site job located at the Surry Nuclear Plant in Surry, Virginia.

Contract 6 weeks through November 2025

Your Day-to-Day:

What your day-to-day looks like:

• Perform Insulation responsibilities as assigned for the project
• Participate in training programs to acquire and maintain certifications and keep current with technology and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Will report to the Site Manager.

Who You Are:

• High school graduate or the recognized equivalent is required. 2-year, post high school degree/certificate or equivalent in experience. Additional experience may be substituted for formal education.
• Insulation Certification (NCCER) or equivalent.
• 3-6 years of primary insulation responsibilities.
• Working in a hot environment required.
• Must pass nuclear background and fitness for duty.
• Must be able to safely lift and move 50 lbs unassisted.
• Daily work 12-hour day or night shifts.
• Work will be 60-72 hours per week.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $38/hour to $44/hour.
