About Maine School Administrative District No. 33

Maine School Administrative District No. 33 serves students in grades PreK-12 in St. Agatha, ME, home of the Long Lake Fishing Derby, one of the largest fishing derby's in the state!. The district has two (2) schools under one roof, Wisdom Middle/High School and Dr. Levesque Elementary School, a 2018 National Blue Ribbon School. The district is also home to the St . John Valley Technology Center, serving students from MSAD33, MSAD27, and the Madawaska School Department.

Job Goal: We are seeking an Instructor that will motivate student learners to excel and work in the Residential Electrical profession; to help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their becoming successful citizens and lifelong learners.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver Curriculum: ?Create lessons and instruct on various topics such as electrical theory, wiring techniques, safety standards (e.g., NEC or National Electrical Code), and circuit analysis specific to residential settins.
Provide Hands-On Training: Guide Students through various practical excercises such as installing wiring, outlets, and fixtures in a simulated or actual residential environment.
Evaluate Student Progress: Measure student comprehension on lessons and skill development via grading assessments, quizzes and other practical tasks.
Ensure Safety compliance: Educate learners on safety procedures, regulations, and how to prevent accidents and avoid hazards while using tools and equipment.
Offer Mentorship: Assist students in understand industry expectations and career pathways through guidance and support.

Qualifications

State of Maine Electricians Master Certification
5 years professional experience in the field.
Cleared Maine Criminal History Record Check
