Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Are you ready to lead a high-performing production team at the forefront of automotive interiors manufacturing? Forvia, a global leader in automotive technology, is looking for a driven and experienced UAP Manager to lead operations and drive excellence at our Spring Hill, TN plant.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead & Empower: Manage and develop a skilled production team, fostering a culture of safety, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Deliver Results: Execute production plans, manage shift-level budgets, and ensure cost efficiency while maintaining product quality and delivery standards.
• Be the Voice of the Customer: Represent the plant to our OEM partners—ensuring we meet or exceed expectations for quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement action plans and Production System Efficiency (PSE) projects to enhance productivity and performance.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Industrial Engineering, HR, and Quality teams to ensure optimal resource planning and operational flow.
• Track & Report: Maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor lead times, supply chain performance, HSE compliance, and more.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Education / Experience:
•    Preferably a master’s degree in engineering with specialization in Production
•    At least 5 years of production experience
•    3-5 years of team management
•    Proficient level of English, Spanish is a plus

Knowledge / Skills:
•    Operational knowledge of production methods (Kanban, 5S, Hoshin, TPM…)
•    Strong sense of teamwork
•    Strong communication skills
•    Proven track record in upholding safety and quality standards
