JOB TITLE: Information Desk Attendant

DEPARTMENT:  University Operations

REPORTS TO:  Info Desk Supervisor & Events Assistant

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Act as a receptionist in the Campus Center.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide a good first impression to those who stop at the Information Desk by offering information needed about people or events at Dordt University
  • Answer and/or transfer incoming phone calls
  • Provide information to callers who have questions or need assistance
  • Other duties as assigned

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 

  • Be familiar with campus in order to be able to answer people's questions
  • Have a professional attitude
