About the Opportunity
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner on benefits administration, including eligibility, deductions, enrollments, and employee communications.
- Partner and support payroll for all employees, including deductions, approvals, and reporting.
- Manage annual Open Enrollment, including vendor coordination, employee communication, system updates, and process execution.
- Support 401(k) audits, including Form 5500 filings.
- Collaborate with HRIS and external vendors to maintain accurate records, improve processes, and support reporting and analytics.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements related to payroll and benefits.
- Contribute to HR operations initiatives and process improvements across the People team.
What We Look For In You
- Hands-on payroll experience (processing, deductions, cycle review)
- Familiarity with benefits administration, including eligibility, enrollments, and deductions, as well as leave of absence (LOA) and coordination with the Employment Development Department (EDD).
- Experience managing annual Open Enrollment processes.
- Experience partnering with HRIS systems (Workday, ADP WFN, Oracle, BambooHR, etc.) and external vendors.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with employees, business partners, and vendors.
- 5+ years of experience in Payroll, Benefits, or People Operations.
- Bachelor’s degree
