Job Description:

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day administration of Linux servers, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting and monitoring.

  • Support system maintenance activities such as patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

  • Work with the team to manage PostgreSQL databases, including setup, configuration, and basic optimization.

  • Perform database backup, restoration, and recovery tasks under supervision.

  • Support automation and scripting initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

  • Participate in the documentation of system processes and database configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be from a technical background — pursuing or completing a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field.

  • Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line operations.

  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Knowledge of shell scripting (Bash/Python) is an added advantage.
