Job Description:


The employee shall provide ILS and Supply Support Services for the NATO Sea Sparrow Surface Missile System (NSSMS) in accordance with the below requirements:

  • Define system supportability requirements, evaluate program documentation for logistics impacts, coordinate logistic tasks, review and track logistics products, and participate in various working groups and integrated product teams dedicated to development of specific logistics products.
  • Coordinate and interface with NSWC PHD, other government activities, and various contractor offices for meetings, program schedules, milestones, and product deliveries. Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). 
  • Prepare long range program and project plans and analyze all available data for program impacts on schedules and milestones. 
  • Review and track logistics products to include compiling and inputting data in various databases, systems, and applications.
  • Review and evaluate logistical impacts and incorporate updates to program documents.
  • Support, coordinate, and interface with NSWC PHD, other government activities, and various Contractor offices for meetings, program schedules, milestones, and product deliveries.
  • Use the current Navy-Enterprise Inventory Database (N-ERP) for all inventory and warehouse management tracking through primary use of material masters.
  • Conduct research in identifying applicable policies and procedures for developing and executing PHS&T requirements.
  • Support life cycle management of technical documentation.
  • Use the current Navy-Enterprise Inventory Database (currently Navy-Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP)) for all inventory and warehouse management tracking through primary use of material masters.

Requirements

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the      future.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and experience with Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
  • Demonstrated experience in logistics or supply support.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, program/project support, or supply support.
  • 3+ years of experience working with US Navy weapons systems.
  • Active Secret security clearance.

Security Clearance:


Applicants may be required to have an active security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance as specified in the minimum qualifications. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include but not be limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
