Role Summary
The Maintenance Planning role is the strategic mind behind our maintenance operations. The Maintenance Planning Specialist is a catalyst for operational improvement by transforming how we approach maintenance through the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodology. The Maintenance Planning Specialist is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of equipment through meticulous planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance activities. This role leverages a Customer First Mindset and TPM methodology to minimize downtime and optimize resources. Additional responsibilities of the Maintenance Planning Specialist include Project Coordination, Assets and Spare Parts Management, Engaging in Continuous Improvement Activities, and Growing the TPM Culture.

Work Environment
The employee will work partially in an environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and may encounter other industrial hazards. Wearing protective gear like gloves, protective arm sleeves, safety glasses and safety-toed shoes is essential. In addition, the employee will also work in an office environment, requiring extended periods of computer use. This includes data entry, scheduling, and using CMMS.
Physical Demands
The employee may need to walk around the facility speak with team members, assess work, and monitor ongoing maintenance tasks. Good vision is crucial. Hearing is important for understanding communication and being aware of surroundings. The job can be mentally demanding with the need to prioritize tasks, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with various departments under tight deadlines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, normally Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required occasionally.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
