This role is critical to ensuring our properties are ready for move in as soon as possible. If you enjoy coordinating all activities related to getting a property customer ready, then this is the role for you as you’ll be responsible for identifying, coordinating and managing our tenant and capital improvement projects. This means being an integral part of the Leasing and Customer Relationship Management team to understand our buildings, market and customers.
It also means having great relationship building skills to build trusted partnerships with vendors, public agencies, customers and internal team members to ensure timely and coordinated delivery of our spaces.
This role is also perfectly positioned to optimize our real estate portfolio by having a deep understanding of what features and functions, within our properties driving rental behavior. Additionally, this role is in a great position to understand our customers business and pain points to help introduce solutions and products to solve problems through our Prologis Essentials program.
What’s needed in order to do that:
- Innovative mindset - open to Lean construction techniques and continuous improvement.
- Manage a team of consultants and contractors to develop tenant improvement plans, make ready works, CAPEX, specifications, construction budgets, and schedules
- Work effectively as part of an integrated customer service team
- Ability to work in a team of Operations Construction Managers, with appropriate reporting to the Team leader
- In partnership with the Customer Experience & Real Estate team and Asset Management team, must be able to identify additional revenue opportunities by demonstrating an expert understanding of Prologis value-added products and services to align them to customer needs (Prologis Essentials, etc..)
- Manage the procurement of permits and all necessary governmental approvals
- Develop, tender and manage competitive bid packages for a variety of projects sizes and type
- Construction cost knowledge, ideally in logistic real estate
- Research design and construction innovations and value engineering opportunities that will enhance and futureproof Prologis’ developments without compromising functionality or life cycle costs
- Interface and develop working relationships with various public agencies
- Identify opportunities to upgrade and maximize the value of existing real estate portfolio.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through each project
- Support and understand budgeting process
- Support Due Diligence process and dispositions process
- Procurement skills
Tell us if you are ready:
- Have a customer centric mindset that focuses on solving customer pain points by providing products and ser-vices that meet the customers need
- 5-10 years minimum of experience working in the Construction Management field
- Project management experience with a commercial general contractor, real estate owner, and/or owner’s representative preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Business, Architecture, Engineering (Civil,Structural or Mechanical & Electrical) or related field preferred
- Experience in Property Improvements, Roofing, Construction, Tenant Improvements and Renovations.
- Proficient with or ability to quickly learn new technologies (i.e. Excel, MS Project, Google Earth, ACAD view-er, Bluebeam, Smartsheet and internal tools)
- Fluency in French and good command of English (verbal and written)
- Effective communication skills, teamwork and openness to feedback.

- Knowledge on French regulation
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time (mainly daily trips to visit assets and Customers across France)
