Description

This is a newly created position responsible for managing the financial and accounting functions of the company. This includes overseeing all financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls. The role requires analytical skills, a high attention to detail, and a working knowledge of GAAP accounting to maintain accurate financial records. Depending on your skills and experience, you may be placed  in a Director of Accounting role or a Controller role. Both positions play a key part in supporting our company's growth, and we'll match you to the role that best fits your strengths.

Requirements

 Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and oversee timely and accurate location based monthly and annual financial statements that are in compliance with GAAP
  • Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions.
  • Supervise and train accounting team members
  • Manage the Integrating of newly acquired businesses through documented processes and procedures
  • Assist in the preparation of an annual budget
  • Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets
  • Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and tax preparers
  • Monitor cash flow to ensure the company meets its financial obligations
  • Maintain the company’s financial reporting tools and implement new software to improve efficiencies
  • Provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
  • Time management to ensure deadlines are met


Education and Experience

  • Minimum five (5) years progressively responsible professional experience in accounting, that thrives on financial reporting and tackling challenges directly
  • Proven success in building processes for growth
  • Public accounting experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing a high-performing team in a multi-site structure.
  • Proficiency in all aspects of technology
  • Datarails experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • CPA licensure (active or inactive) a plus
