NOTICE OF AVAILABLE POSITION
NIGHT LEAD CUSTODIAN

Eden Prairie Schools has a career opportunity for a Night Lead Custodian. This position assists the Maintenance Operations Coordinator with direction of the night custodial staff and maintaining the physical school plant and grounds in a condition of operating excellence in order to provide quality education and a safe environment for all staff and students. POSITION:	Night Lead Custodian
LOCATION:	Oak Point Elementary
RATE OF PAY:	$32.11/hour + $0.60 (night differential)
HOURS PER DAY:	8
START & ENDING TIME:	3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
WORKING DAYS PER YEAR:	260 days/year (full-time)
PAID HOLIDAYS:	12
QUALIFICATIONS: *Please see the attached job description* *for more details about this position.*	High school diploma or equivalent. Boilers license* at level required by building, or ability to obtain within probationary period. Ability to obtain bus driver's license by end of probationary period. Three years' custodial experience, preferably in an educational setting. Supervisory experience preferred. Ability to perform minor repair jobs. Ability to set prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and takes direction from several sources. Ability to read and comprehend basic operating instructions. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to give work direction. Ability to meet the public & communicate with students. BOILERS LICENSE INFORMATION: * To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, a Special Engineer’s License with the ability obtain a 2^nd Class C Boiler’s license by the end of their probationary period (6 months after hire).
TESTING REQUIRED:	All job offers from Eden Prairie Schools are conditioned upon passing a pre-employment criminal background check and ISD 272 School Board approval. Offers for these positions will also be conditioned upon passing a pre-employment physical abilities test.
