Washington Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative ERP Applications Integration Developer to enhance and maintain our Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environment and its connected enterprise systems. This role focuses on building robust integrations between ERP and related business applications, optimizing workflows, and enabling automation to support a diverse group of companies across multiple industries.

You’ll partner with business leaders, analysts, and IT teams to design, develop, and support ERP solutions and integrations that improve efficiency, ensure data integrity, and deliver measurable business value. While JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development will be your primary focus, you’ll also be responsible for connecting it with a variety of systems

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design, implement, and maintain integration between JD Edwards and other enterprise applications using Rest APIs in Orchestrator, Soap Services using BSSV web services, middleware solutions such as Microsoft Azure, or our file transfer and automation tool Go Anywhere. 
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and issue resolution for ERP and integration-related incidents.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for developed and integrated solutions.
  • Break down complex features into manageable development tasks. 

Qualifications

Skills Required: 

  • Proven expertise in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development (Event Rule Language, RDA, FDA, C APIs).
  • Experience with Java, JDeveloper, and EnterpriseOne business service/web service development.
  • Experience with Groovy, or other scripting languages Python, Ruby or Go.
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with MS SQL Server.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, XML/JSON, and integration frameworks.

Business & Soft Skills:

  • Understanding of ERP modules—Payroll, HR, GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Sales, and Purchasing. 
  • Experience collaborating in an Agile environment with multiple developers on shared initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience with JD Edward EnterpriseOne Software.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles. 
  • Understanding API’s, data models and system integrations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • team player who values knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Hours

This is a salaried hybrid work position with some flexibility in hours. After 90 days of employment, the opportunity to work from home one day per week (Tuesday or Thursday) is available. Employees will be expected to deliver a full 40-hour week. Applicant must be willing to work additional or non-standard hours to support critical system issues and/or delivery of time-critical project deadlines.
