Save the Children After School Program Coordinator
Primary Function: The Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the full implementation of Save the Children’s in-school, afterschool, and math programming to support students’ academic and social-emotional growth. This role collaborates closely with school personnel to identify students in need of targeted support, organizes small group and enrichment activities based on assessment data, and ensures the effective delivery of literacy, math, and healthy choices initiatives. The coordinator provides coaching and feedback to tutors, monitors program fidelity, and administers pre- and post-assessments to evaluate student progress. Additionally, the Program Coordinator engages families through planned activities and events, collects and analyzes engagement data, and works with school staff to align family outreach with schoolwide goals. This position also ensures adherence to child safeguarding and data protection policies, maintains accurate program records, and fosters a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all participants.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 35% sitting, 35% walking, and 30% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and some hazardous conditions.
