Do you like the hustle and bustle of restaurant work but NOT dealing with the people? Come work at Fun Fur Pets! It's fast-paced but with lots of dogs and only a few people. We encourage those with retail, food service and customer service experience to apply!

Fun Fur Pets in La Crosse, WI and Pawesome Pets Country Club (off OT in Holmen) is looking for an afternoon assistant manager to assist between both locations to meet our growing business needs in the dog daycare and boarding business.

Our ideal candidate has great attention to detail, is great at multitasking, good with staff AND clients, and enjoys the company of dogs. This position is for our Assistant Manager (float between FFP and PPCC) for the hours of 6:00 am till 7:00 pm—hours vary weekly. This role is expected to work 40 hours/week. Working every other weekend and holidays will be required. We are open 365 days a year.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff are following our standard operating procedures
• Engage with our human and canine clientele
• Keep accurate records of daily activities
• Ensure that proper guidelines are followed for cleaning protocols
• Filling in where needed in the facility
• This is not a desk job; you will be on your feet for 5-7 hours a day.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience
• Ideal candidate has worked in a service based industry
• Have the philosophy of leading by example
• Valid Drivers License

Employees will receive online employee training in addition to hands-on learning and have the opportunity for a raise upon each online training course completion every two weeks during their 60-day probationary period.
