Role Overview
The Strategic Property Management Lead will play a pivotal role in driving the growth, delivery, and management of property management and consultancy services within the Strategy Service Area. This role is designed to balance strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, with responsibilities split approximately 50/50 between delivering consultancy projects and property management advice, and leading business development efforts to expand new client-facing service lines. This balance will be reviewed regularly to ensure alignment with evolving business priorities.
The post holder will work closely with Associate Directors and will form part of the Service Area Leadership Team, contributing to a coordinated and efficient national service offering. They will be responsible for leading projects, engaging directly with clients, and managing a team to ensure high performance and continuous professional development.
A strong understanding of landlord and tenant, acquisition and disposal and valuation matters is essential, as is the ability to provide expert property management advice to both external clients and the Sewell Group and its family of businesses when required.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong operational capabilities, capable of enhancing current service delivery while identifying and implementing new opportunities for growth. The successful candidate will have proven experience in property management and consultancy, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to build and maintain effective client relationships. They must be comfortable operating at both strategic and delivery levels, ensuring that services are aligned with client expectations and broader business goals.
