Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to lead our financial operations. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong accounting background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting:
    Prepare, review, and maintain timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    Lead the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts; monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
  • Internal Controls:
    Design, implement, and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Audit Coordination:
    Serve as the primary liaison for external audits; coordinate audit processes and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
  • Financial Strategy & Planning:
    Partner with executive leadership to develop long-term financial strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal government reporting and tax filing requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
