Our Commercial team is a large, but a close-knit group of trading experts, who are ready to shape the future of Coles. About the role

Reporting into our Senior Value Manager, this role will play a key part in driving value for our customers through delivering data led promotional insights, implementing a forward-thinking value strategy and being a key point of contact on all things pricing and value for our category management teams. 

You will also: 

• Support our Senior Value Manager implementing and driving our value strategy
• Deliver insightful analysis and recommendations on promotional activity 
• Work closely with our category managers to stay up to date with our changing customer spending habits 
• Partner with marketing and customer teams to communicate trusted value to our customers and get credit for value
• Maintain reporting on price competitiveness and value KPI’s for stakeholders across the Coles group

About you and your skills

You will have:

• Exposure to data analysis and problem solving in an FMCG, Retail or Consulting environment
• Experience with data tools such as SQL, R, PowerBI etc. preferred but not required
• The ability to navigate ambiguity/work through complex environments whilst making sound decisions
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to present data insights confidently to a varied stakeholder group 
• Experienced in handling large scale data and developing insightful reports
