Description

A Gymnastics Instructor represents the YMCA as a team leader in gymnastics. The primary responsibility is to provide a safe, educational and enjoyable gymnastics class to participants of a variety of ages. Gymnastics Instruction will be based on the YUSA-Gymnastics Progressive program.

Primary function will be teaching Children ages 3 to 14 in both our preschool and school aged Gymnastics  Programs

Responsibilities

• The candidate will run classes to stimulate the growth and development of the participants utilizing the YMCA Core Values and Character Development Initiative
• Effectively communicate between staff, parents, and class participants
• Maintain a safe environment through the supervision of their students within the class structure
• Hours available during weekday mornings and afternoons/early evenings; weekend classes also available
• Ability to train instructors who have prior gymnastics competitive experience or those who have taught gymnastics before
