JOB POSTING: Globe High School INTERIM Athletic Director

REPORTS TO: GHS Principal

POSITION BEGINS: SEptember 15, 2025

OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES: This position assists students in achieving the greatest benefits from the school’s educational programs, non-academic programs, services and offerings. This position also provides supervisory assistance to personnel in the athletic department. Applicants will maintain their teaching contract and will be expected to teach three (3) periods per day.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Requires a valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. 2. Knowledge of A.I.A. rules and regulations and applicable District Policies 3. Previous supervisory and coaching experience desirable. 4. CPR/First Aid certification required. 5. Knowledge of NFHS Rules and Regulations. 6. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate is preferred.
