Summary

Work closely with sales managers and Key account managers on effective and efficient customer development and support. This role identifies and pursues new business opportunities to drive sales. You'll build relationships and close deals with potential and existing customers

Primary Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining good relationships with customers through proactive communication and excellent customer service.
  • Identifying and pursuing revenue growth, upsell or cross-sell opportunities with existing customers.
  • Sales contract management, with focus on contract creation and implementation
  • Lead and Opportunity creation and follow up
  • Quote Management including quote creation, lead of quote approval process and follow up
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Maintain customer and business-related master data within CRM
  • Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
  • Customer and market related reporting and analytics
  • Member of multi-functional teams on customer application development
  • Full Sales Management responsibility for assigned customers


General Tasks

  • Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations and implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management and occupational safety.

Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies

  • Degree in Economics with technical competence or Degree in Engineering with economical competence or comparable professional education
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant job experience
  • Business related experience
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
  • Fluent English and German language capability
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented
  • Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Tenacity to handle rejection and continue with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client
  • Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team

Travel Requirements  

  • 10%-25% travel
