Job Description:To complete our team in Geneva, we are looking for a Credit Officer to cover the following tasks:
- Support and ensure the processing of credit operations and related administration tasks as well as liaise with management for the appropriate formalization of credit requests, also in support of international entities;
- Be in charge of daily monitoring and follow-up on respect of Lending Value Ration rules (monitor appropriate coverage of credit facilities, send alert to RM and/or formal Communication to clients of LVR deficiencies - e.g. Margin Call letter)
- Analyse, process the establishment of complex and structured Lombard credit operations (life insurances pledges, bank guarantees, including FOREX and derivatives, etc.) and ensure the follow-up of related client risks;
- Participate in the process of updating the department's regulations, guidelines and procedures as well as in the coordination for the equivalent of the international entities;
- Support the review of the automation processes, in particular for the setting up and renewal of loans, as well as the procedure for the equivalent of the international entities;
- Support any other automation and IT development projects
- Advanced level of banking training or University Degree;
- Minimum 8 years in banking activities and credit;
- Very good knowledge on Credit (mainly Lombard) and development skills on Regulators' report;
- Excellent knowledge of credit instruments, financial products (risk analysis, structuring of complex Lombard loans);
- Proficiency in MS Office and Bloomberg, knowledge of Excel VBA an asset;
- Good team player, very good spirit of adaptation and flexibility, good oral and written communication skills;
- Dynamic, analytical and synthetic mind.
- Fluent in French and English, another language is an asset;
