Haag, a Salas O'Brien company, a leader in forensic engineering and consulting since 1924, is seeking a Customer Service Representative in the Flower Mound, TX office.

Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative plays a key role in supporting the Education Department through world-class customer service, accurate order processing, and efficient administrative assistance. This position serves as the primary point of contact between Haag’s Education department and customers who desire to purchase damage assessment training or field resources that help them to do their jobs more efficiently and competently, while also ensuring the smooth execution of daily operations and back-office functions of the Education department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Primary Customer Service Coordinator

• Serve as the first point of contact for all customer interactions related to Haag’s educational products and services, via phone, web and in person customer interactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service with a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Process customer inquiries and orders efficiently and accurately.
• Promote and upsell additional Haag offerings during all customer interactions.

1. Order Processing & Invoicing

• Manage and fulfill orders for Haag’s seminars and publications received via phone, walk-ins, and online platforms.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipping and delivery of Haag Education customer orders.
• Process daily credit card and cash transactions; reconcile payments and perform end-of-day sales reporting in Sales Force and Square platforms.

1. Administrative Support

• Provide backup administrative support to the Business Development and Seminar Manager, including:
• Pulling weekly/monthly reports, as directed.
• Performing data entry and database management.
• Assisting with packaging and assembling seminars, trade shows, and other misc. shipments.

1. Event Support – Parish Auditorium

• Support seminar operations, including room setup, breakdown, light cleaning, and on-site servicing, as needed and directed.

1. Salesforce and LMS Database Management

• Maintain and update client records in Salesforce and Absorb LMS.
• Assist with ongoing database development, testing, data validation, and other tasks, as assigned.

1. Continuing Education Reporting Support

• Provide support to Compliance Specialist by processing CE completion reporting accurately, within state mandated reporting deadlines, as directed.
• Occasional CE certificate creation and delivery for in-person courses or webinars, in support of Compliance Specialist.

1. Additional Duties

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Education or the Business Development and Seminar Manager.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Passion for and experience in delivering world-class customer service in person or over the phone or internet.
• Proficiency in spoken and written communication in English, required. Multi-lingual (including Spanish) highly preferred.
• Experience in office administration, order fulfillment, Salesforce, or Learning Management System (LMS) administration are highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong commitment to teamwork.
• Experienced and comfortable with upselling during routine customer service interactions.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook 365 required.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Absorb LMS (or another LMS platform), and/or online event registration tools is a plus—and/or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Exceptional customer service mindset and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• None required.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• May require sitting, standing, or walking throughout the day.
• Occasional lifting or moving boxes or crates up to 75+ pounds, reaching, or bending required when handling materials or setting up events.
• A typical office environment with standard lighting, temperature, and office equipment.

Compensation: $23/hr.
