The starting rate for this position is $21.36 incremental increases are earned through developing skills and qualifications.

Summary

The Human Resource/Administrative Assistant provides customer service to both internal and external customers with regards to company human relations.  Under minimal supervision of the Regional HR Manager, the incumbent must be able to master the basics of Human Resources, be able to handle and work with private and personal information in a confidential manner and provide excellent customer service; encompassing the responsibilities of maintaining physical and electronic files, and assist w/employee relations issues. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all employees in employee relations efforts to maintain a positive and productive workforce
  • Talent Acquisition: utilizing company tools and processes to develop a candidate pipeline, screen applicants, and successfully onboard new hires.
  • Assist in the coordination of company compliance training
  • Conduct administrative tasks to support the day to day operations

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent required
  • Recruiting – sourcing, screening, communicating, interviewing, organizing pre-employment screening
  • Conflict resolution
  • Employee relations

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities                                              

  • Ability to read, speak and write in both English and Spanish is preferred
  • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and proficiency with or ability to learn HRIS
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to interact with individuals from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds

Physical Demands

  • Sit, use keyboard, use fine manipulation with hands and fingers. Lift up to 10 pounds.

  • Clean, temperature controlled environment. Noise level is low. No personal protective equipment needed.
