Job Summary:
Housekeepers of Stone Gables Estate will clean assigned lodging areas or barn wedding venues and complete tasks in a timely and professional manner. This position will report to the Hospitality Coordinator of Stone Gables Estate.
Requirements
- Making beds
- Washing, drying, and folding bed sheets and towels
- Cleaning bathrooms and resetting towels
- Dusting all furniture, décor, lights, baseboards
- Dusting wall and ceiling corners
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Cleaning kitchen and washing dishes
- Staging furniture and all décor as required
- Occasionally helping with cleaning at events or weddings
- Keeping supplies organized
- Other duties may be assigned.
Education & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Background in housekeeping and a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work alone or with a team
- Proven time management skills
- Strong follow-through and a keen sense of ownership, along with an aptitude for building relationships at all levels within the organization.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Regularly required to sit or walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk, hear; lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; use peripheral vision; depth perception; ability to adjust focus; work in wet or humid conditions and in outdoor weather conditions.
- Frequently required to stand, climb or balance; stoop, kneel or crouch; talk, smell; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; use distance vision. Subject to cleaning chemicals.
- Occasionally subjected to lift and/or move over 100 pounds, work in high places.
- The noise level is usually moderate.
