Position Description:

The Parts Advisor – Wholesale Representative is responsible for supporting wholesale customers by providing accurate parts information, processing orders, and maintaining strong relationships with independent repair shops, body shops, and fleet accounts. This remote position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high volumes of orders while delivering superior customer service on behalf of the dealership.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide fast and courteous service to wholesale customers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale customers, handling inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Identify and recommend appropriate OEM parts to meet customer needs, ensuring accuracy and compatibility.
• Process wholesale orders promptly, including verification, pricing, and availability.
• Work closely with the dealership’s parts department to coordinate fulfillment, shipping, and delivery schedules.
• Proactively follow up with wholesale accounts to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
• Assist with returns, credits, and warranty claims for wholesale customers.
• Maintain current knowledge of manufacturer parts catalog, pricing updates, promotions, and technical bulletins.
• Support the outside wholesale representative by cultivating leads, calling prospective accounts, and following up after visits.
• Track sales activities, prepare reports, and contribute to wholesale sales  growth goals. 
• Write purchase orders for parts and sublet work as needed from outside suppliers and obtain management approval.
• Promote and sell parts, accessories, and related services, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Maintain records of all special-order parts and notify the person who authorized the order of receipt.
• Participate in conducting a perpetual inventory.
• Help maintain parts catalogs, price schedules, and other technical information  and bulletins.
• Provide exceptional service that represents the dealership’s standards of professionalism and reliability.
• Additional duties as required  by management

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Prior experience as a Parts Advisor or in a wholesale parts sales role (automotive dealership experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of OEM parts catalogs, ordering systems, and wholesale account management.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines and performance targets.
• Proficient in dealership management systems (DMS), manufacturer parts ordering platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to qualify for employment.

Pre-Employment testing includes a successful background check and drug testing.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Day Shift

Education/Requirements:

• High school or equivalent
