About the role

As the Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for providing customer service and assistance in developing and marketing a dynamic range of steel reinforcing solutions for building, construction, mining, rural and industrial applications.  This is a full time position working from 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Customer enquiries and sales, over the phone and at the front counter, including front office phone call management
• Accurate and timely quoting and follow up
• Entering sales data accurately into the sales management system
• General administration as required including management of cash sale payments and the prepayment of accounts
• CRM data entry and allocation of credit notes
• Despatch coordination

You will be passionate and enthusiastic about providing outstanding customer service.  Your previous customer service and administration experience will be highly advantageous to your success in this role.

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

• Experience dealing with customers and sales in an office environment
• Computer literacy and software skills to complete required tasks
• Strong decision making, communication and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage ever changing customer requirements
