Claresholm is a municipality in Southern Alberta with a population of over 3,800 and a service area of 7,000 residents.  Located on Highway 2, Claresholm has easy access to the City of Calgary, which is 125km to the north, to the City of Lethbridge, which is 91km to the southeast, and an hour away from the Rocky Mountains.

The town provides a wide range of retail, government, and professional services to the surrounding region which is primarily engaged in agriculture such as farming and ranching.  It also has established industries related to healthcare, construction, retail trade, hospitality, and food services.

  • Rural Emergency Department experience, including procedural experience with trauma assessment and management, procedural sedation, intubation, chest tube placement, and fracture setting and casting.

  • Locum experience working at Claresholm General Hospital and Claresholm Medical Centre.

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
