Responsible for leading the design, coordination, and execution of all Contractor Sales & Marketing campaigns and initiatives. The position’s primary objective will be to drive improved brand equity, loyalty and awareness of Leviton’s complete value-add offering with electrical contractors.

Independently and proactively, the position will take command of coordinating and implementing projects and programs, communicating between the Leviton sales channels, marketing teams and Business Units.  The contractor marketing manager will support the go-to-market strategy to increase sales, brand awareness and new opportunities across multiple products, applications, and execution of account-based marketing.

• Execute electrical contractor related tactics and activities necessary to successfully fulfill the Leviton marketing strategy in conjunction with the Contractor Technical Sales Team
• Conduct competitive market and customer research analysis to assess needs and opportunity to implement, manage, maintain, and refine Contractor Programs
• Promote innovative products in high-growth areas; intel gathered from sales channels should be recorded in CRM for nurturing potential customer relationships
• Represent Leviton at relevant professional functions, with key customers, and with marketing groups and at trade shows and industry events
• Develop and conduct recruitment programs to increase the number of electrical contractor contacts in marketing distribution lists, expanding the Leviton contractor audience.
• Develop and execute a contractor advisory board and loyalty program, defining enrollment, goals and measurements of success
• Contribute to the LevitonPro program; define enrollment goals and measures of success, and execute plan
• Utilize CRM data to maintain active and relevant communications with customers including consistent cadence of content delivery
• Own and manage the content of the Contractor page(s) on Leviton.com, contractor newsletters and communications and report quarterly performance metrics, working closely with digital & creative marketing for programming and delivery
• Grow relationships in key organizations (NECA, IEC); identify and expand our presence as well as advertising, speaking, training & membership opportunities. Lead Leviton’s presence at national and regional events with key associations (including NECA Premier Partner defined activities)

• Strong critical thinking, organizational, planning, project management, and problem resolution skills with the proven ability to manage projects from inception through execution

• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to build relationships and drive success is a cross functional environment
• Ability to inspire, motivate and influence behaviors to drive change across an organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and organizational skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Must be able to build and maintain budget for various marketing programs
• Proven experience tracking and reporting on campaign effectiveness through tools such as Microsoft Dynamics, Wrike, etc.
• Willingness to adapt quickly to shifting business priorities and ability to work effectively under pressure
• Must be versed in adult learning theory to create instructional programs both internally and externally

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration from a four-year College or University
• Minimum of 7 years in the Electrical, Communications or Building Industry preferred
• Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies
• Experience with content development, campaign management and event management
• Proficiency in various digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and influencer-based marketing

• Up to 20% travel
