Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Project Manager – Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) with a strong background in healthcare to lead and manage cross-functional integration and acquisition initiatives. This individual will be responsible for coordinating all phases of the M&A lifecycle, from due diligence through post-merger integration, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory compliance within the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage M&A projects from initiation through completion, including due diligence, valuation analysis, and post-merger integration for healthcare acquisitions.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (finance, legal, HR, IT, operations, compliance) to ensure successful execution of M&A initiatives.

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for each phase of the acquisition process.

  • Drive due diligence processes, assessing financial, operational, and clinical aspects of target organizations, identifying risks and synergies.

  • Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to ensure all transactions comply with federal and state healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute).

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to integration success, operational efficiency, and financial impact.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and external partners (investment bankers, consultants, legal counsel).

  • Prepare executive-level presentations and updates for the C-suite and board of directors.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred – MBA, MHA, or MPH).

  • 5+ years of project management
