Role: AWS Network Engineer

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Contract Duration: 6 Months+ (With a possibility of Extension)

Work Hours: Eastern Standard Time (EST)

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in India or LATAM Countries)

Our client is seeking an experienced AWS Network Engineer with a strong background in networking and hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and services. As an AWS Network Engineer, he/she will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our AWS network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities
  • Implementing AWS network solutions to support internal applications and services
  • Configuring and maintaining AWS networking services such as VPC, EC2, ELB, and CloudFront
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define networking requirements for new projects
  • Troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues to ensure uninterrupted service availability
  • Implementing and maintaining network security measures (SG, NACLS) to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats
  • Troubleshooting network performance and optimizing network infrastructure to ensure scalability and efficiency
  • Document network configurations, and procedures

Must Haves
  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty certification is preferred
  • Proven experience implementing and maintaining AWS network infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, IPSec VPN, and BGP
  • Hands-on experience with AWS networking services and tools
  • Proficiency in network security best practices and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of Palo Alto security products (Next Generation Firewalls, Panorama, Prisma) is recommended.
