The Boulder County Attorney’s Office is hiring a Labor Relations Administrator to coordinate engagement with the newly recognized Boulder County Employees Union under a collective bargaining agreement that is currently being negotiated.
The Labor Relations Administrator will initially be responsible for participating in a team that is negotiating a collective bargaining agreement. Once the agreement is completed, the Labor Relations Administrator will be responsible for responding to and addressing issues and disputes that may arise under the agreement, including grievances filed by union members. In this capacity, the Labor Relations Administrator will work closely with employees, managers, the human resources team, and attorneys in the County Attorney’s Office.
SALARY
Hiring Salary Range: $112,308 -- $137,004
Classification Salary Range: $112,308 -- $161,700

POSITION DETAILS
This is a full-time and benefited position. The work schedule is Monday - Friday and work hours are determined by need but generally fall between 7:30am - 5:30pm. The office location is in the Downtown Courthouse, located at 1325 Pearl St., Boulder, CO 80302. This is currently a hybrid position with the option of working from home up to three days per week. This position will be required to attend in-person meetings at other Boulder County locations as necessary. Under FLSA guidelines, this position is exempt (not eligible for overtime).
Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Education: Bachelor’s degree. Juris doctorate preferred.
Experience: Five years of progressively responsible experience in labor relations, employee relations, or five years of legal experience or equivalent related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of labor relations
Legal experience in employment law, labor law, or local government law
Experience working for a government entity.
